Our stand at Walsall Manor Hospital caused a lot of interest with the activities we have available. This was just one of the stands we did this week to promote what we do for people with dementia, as part of dementia week.
It was great to see Alice Adams , age 100, from Bull Street, Darlaston today. She remembered Billy Muggins and Bob Smith from Favourite House. Hilda, 102 , also came to the tea party we put on for dementia week.
On Mindful Gifts CIC’s new year’s honours list is #walsallpublichealth for giving us a grant so that we could giveaway 500 skipping ropes to children who lived in Walsall. This enabled children to get healthy and fit by having fun!
