You’re never to old to do some volunteering at Mindful Gifts CIC. Ursula , age 94, helped us by cleaning the brass. Might start a Brasso club, as its very therapeutic and the brass looks great once polished!
Thanks to everyone who supported our “Carols on the Cobbles” event today! A big thanks you to Mike Surman who gave up his time to sing us some Christmas songs and our volunteers who, dressed up, made hot chocolate, looked after customers and sang their hearts out!! Also a thank you to the community who despite the rain and the cold joined in with the singing, jingling bells and holding candles! HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

It was great to meet Vicki Phipps, founder of Mindful Gifts in Darlaston, yesterday. Mindful Gifts supplies gift ideas for people with dementia and enables them to take part in meaningful activities. There was lots to see and it was good to be able to support such a worthwhile cause.
