We’re emailing you to invite you to the official launch of our brand-new bookable experience, Reminiscence Boxes, on Tuesday 21 September to coincide with World Alzheimer’s Day. The event is planned to take place at the Black Country Living Museum (10.30-12.30pm). All participants booked on the session will have the opportunity to explore the museum in the afternoon, if they wish.
These reminiscence boxes are sensory memory boxes inspired by Black Country History, available to hire as bookable sessions in residential care homes, schools and community groups.
Each box contains a series of objects relating to its theme, along with an operational guide to help the user create an engaging and inspiring session.
Pictured above: our first Reminiscence Box session, hosted in partnership with Sanctuary Care. Each box can be booked with a BCLM Historic interpreter to facilitate your session.
Our boxes are designed to work in a variety of settings. They can be used as part of reminiscence therapy sessions or can also be used as educational tools. To see if our boxes are right for your organisation and to find out how they can benefit you, we would love for you to join us on Tuesday 21 September to experience a taster session. Our team will talk you through how each box works and how it can benefit you and those that you work with.
To RSVP contact our Sales and Ticketing team on 0121 520 8054 (lines open 10am – 4pm, Mon-Fri) or email@example.com. If you wish to inquire about booking for this event via text, please text us on 07520 632500 and a member of our team will get back to you.
Deadline: Friday 17th September at 5pm
